KINETIC WORKPLACE RELEASES TWO NEW TOOLS FOR COMPANIES TO MAP OUT FUTURE TELEWORK AND HOTELING NEEDS

Kinetic Audit and Kinetic Diagnostic Now Available To Help Companies Explore
Current State Of Internal Programs and Provide Next Steps

July 18, 2001 – Pittsburgh – Kinetic Workplace, the leading provider of Telework, Hoteling and Virtual Officing solutions, today announced Kinetic Audit and Kinetic Diagnostic, two new tools to help companies evaluate their existing Telework or Hoteling programs and assess the impact it has had on the organization. For companies that don't currently have any kind of Telework or Hoteling program, these tools will help them profile the current state of their organizations in regards to adapting a Telework or Hoteling program.

Kinetic Workplace "changes the way people work" by integrating the fields of human resources (HR), information technology (IT) and corporate real estate to help companies create Telework, Hoteling, and Virtual Officing solutions.

Kinetic Audit is a tool designed to help an organization explore how to effectively scale an existing Telework or Hoteling program. The organization's current Telework or Hoteling program may include participants from different functional groups and a variety of geographic locations. The Kinetic Audit tool and comparison of best practices enables Kinetic Workplace's expert Consulting Group to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the organization's current program; determine the feasibility of formalizing and expanding the existing program; and establish the next steps to implementing a new scalable program.

Kinetic Diagnostic is a tool designed to help an organization that currently doesn't have any type of Telework or Hoteling program. The Kinetic Diagnostic tool enables Kinetic Workplace's expert Consulting Group to more completely understand an organization's current work processes; identify areas where a formalized Telework or Hoteling program will be most effective and successful; and outline the next steps to implementing a new program.

"One of the keys to moving forward to reap the productivity and cost savings that come with a professionally implemented Telework program is gauging the current state of the company," said Tim Kane, Founder, President and CEO of Kinetic Workplace. "With these two tools, companies now are able to explore how their ad hoc Telework or Hoteling programs compare to industry benchmarks. It doesn't matter if companies have informal programs or not, these tools help them know exactly what next steps they need to take to gain the benefits they deserve."

Kinetic's full range of industry leading solutions are developed and implemented by Kinetic's Consulting Group which brings a best practices knowledge database consisting of case studies from more than 300 companies to every client engagement. Kinetic's Consulting Group will work with representatives from the organization to analyze a company's workforce to build a comprehensive Telework program which includes: personnel policies, procedures and protocols; change management communications and intervention strategies; participant selection and assessment tools; office Hoteling business rule; and measurement benchmarks and performance tracking. In addition, Kinetic Consulting offers instructor-led, computer-based and online end user training, and the coordination of back-end support.

Kinetic's Telework and Hoteling solutions give companies a major advantage in today's competitive marketplace by making knowledge workers more efficient, reducing real estate costs and leveraging today's advances in technology.
